Doing a tiny tour at the end of may, nothing major but this will be our firs time doing more than 2 days on the road.

the first 3 dates we are joining WAR WOLF on their tour then finishing in Swindon with a gig with 2 other 2 piece bands.

I’m bias but Monolithian are such a sick live act. The amount of noise produced by just two people is incredible.

The One/Zero 12” will be shipping out as soon as it’s back from the plant- and there’s also a sick split 7” with Let It Die on the way. Both via Moshtache Records

We are extremely happy to announce that we have signed with 6131 Records and will be releasing a four-song EP, Pretty Good, this summer. We can’t even begin to thank everyone that has been along with us for this ride we call Dads but we can say that we can’t wait to see where else it takes us, especially with the new family we are growing into at 6131. Joey and Sean have made us feel like they are a great match for what we plan to do with our lives and more importantly, we felt as if they were lifelong friends upon meeting them and after talking for a couple minutes we could tell that they have a genuine interest and care about helping us be the best us we can be. We are excited to start unfolding some stuff; later on this month we will be releasing a new song from Pretty Good. Keep your eyes peeled and your ears open and welcome to the next chapter of our story! Thank you for still being a part of it.

Many good points made here. I have obviously supported quite a few hardcore/mosh/downtuned bands over time, and I do (generally speaking) love the music, but I am sick of the developments over the last few years of the actions of some of the crowds.

I do not want your fist/body flying at me or you to try and kick me if I am stood at the back or against a wall. How much floor space do you need? You can’t have the whole room - that’s very selfish and not everyone wants to ‘move’. Some of these people don’t care who they hit, male or female, and they think it’s hilarious or just “part of what happens”. IT’S NOT. It’s vastly inconsiderate and, frankly, disgusting.

I’ve seen, and played shows with, a fair few mosh bands over the years and I don’t hate the music a handful of them made; what I do hate is having to make sure some pre-pubescent neanderthal isn’t going to cut my fun short with a flailing limb at the request of a narrow minded front-man.

It seems that this new wave of hardcore kids don’t respect, don’t care, or simply don’t even know what this community is about. This is meant to be a family. It’s not some sadist, egocentric epicentre for violence.

I used to go to local hardcore/metal shows a fair bit but the constant bad mosh and calls for ‘YOU FAGS, OPEN THE PIT’ (and other homophobic slurs) just killed it all for me. I want no part with such closed minded fashioncore.

Come for the community, not for the street cred.

LOL crowd killing. I do like moshing, especially the Hardcore kind you’d find at say The Flex, Survival, Abolition etc but the whole punching anyone intentionally for those not wanting to be involved isn’t exactly a positive environment.
